High Priest

A British Sign Language (BSL) translation of High Priest. High priests had special responsibilities and duties within the temple. They were required to be of a higher standard of holiness and had to abide by rules and laws even more strict than those which other Jewish priests had to obey. High priests wore garments including a breastpiece an ephodof in colours of gold, purple, blue, and scarlet.
