A British Sign Language (BSL) translation of Pharisees. A group of Jews who emphasised the fundamental importance of observing the ancient laws and traditions as written in the Talmud (the written version of the oral law and commentaries on it) who scrutinised Jesus’ words and behaviour for any variance with it. He condemns them for neglecting other aspects of the law such as justice.
