Trespass against me

A British Sign Language (BSL) translation of Trespass against me. To be sinned against or in some way be damaged or harmed by another’s wrongdoing. A directional sign, here demonstated as ‘against me’ but which can also be signed the other way to be ‘against others/another person’. The phrase is taken from the Lord’s Prayer in which Jesus taught his followers to forgive others for their trespasses (or sins or debts) in order that their own may be forgiven (Matt. 6: 14-15).

Biblical references include: 1 Samuel 25:28, Matthew 6:14-15, Mark 11:25, Romans 5:17, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 2:13
