A British Sign Language (BSL) translation of Redeemer / Deliverer. A name for Jesus, referring to His ‘buying back’ Christians from the effects of their sin through His sacrifice on the cross. In the Old Testament, God as Redeemer is used in the sense of deliverer eg from plague and slavery.
