A British Sign Language (BSL) translation of Faith. One of the Bible’s definitions of faith is in Hebrews 11:1 where it says: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”. Christian faith is our belief in, and reliance on, God without being able to prove explicitly His existence. In Ephesians 2:8-9 the Bible says: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
