Blind (Lacking awareness)

A British Sign Language (BSL) translation of Blind (Lacking awareness). While using the word blind in this context is clearly ableist, it continues to be included in sermons, liturgy, hymns, and songs to mean a lack of awareness, a lack of understanding, or a rejection of, for instance, God. The sign used here has no relation to the English word ‘blind’ but instead defines the meaning in context as described above.
